This is a minimal, required-events-only walkthrough for Eternal Legend. It's not
going to help you with boss strategies or finding all the treasure chests, but
if you're stuck and can't figure out what arbitrary NPC you need to talk to to
trigger the next plot event -- which is something that happens all too
frequently with this game -- it should help you out.

                               ===============

IMPORTANT: The game restricts certain plot events from occurring if any member
of your party has the "dying" or "stone" status effects (i.e. they are fully
incapacitated and cannot act in battle). This seems to have been done in
situations where a party member permanently leaves, in order to prevent you from
ending up with a "dead-man-walking" party in which nobody can fight.

This is problematic for two reasons: (a.) the game blocks your progress if *any*
party member is incapacitated, regardless of whether the party remaining after
the lineup change would still be valid; and (b.) the game rarely actually tells
you that it's doing this, and will usually just silently prevent the next plot
trigger from occurring. Keep *all* your party members alive and healthy whenever
you're trying to advance the plot, or you may find yourself inexplicably unable
to progress.

=== Hark ===

- Leave the inn and go southeast to the Elder's house. Talk to him and he'll ask
you to find his glasses.

- Leave town and go south, hugging the coastline. Along the southern coast,
you'll eventually bump into a hotspot where you'll find the Sunglasses.

- Go back and talk to the Elder to find the glasses aren't his. You can give
them to "Jean", a blue-haired NPC wandering the eastern part of the town,
instead (not required, but it gets this otherwise useless item out of your
inventory).

- Return to the island's southern coast and walk along it until you find the
Glasses.

- Return the Glasses to the Elder.

- Go to the second floor of the Hark Inn to find Barth. Talk to him, and he'll
join your party.

NOTE: Barth comes with a Bomb in his inventory. You'll need it for an event
later, so don't use it or you'll have to buy another one.

- Leave town and head north and west, circling around the outer edge of the
continent, to reach Mt. Jade.

=== Mt. Jade ===

- From the start of the dungeon, take the following turns at each intersection:
east, north, west, west.

- Immediately after the final turn, the path will head north into an east-west
intersection; ignore both turns and walk along the northern wall until you
trigger an event. Arwyn will then use a Bomb to destroy the wall.

- Head north through the new opening. An event will occur.

- Leave Mt. Jade the same way you entered. Barth will leave the party (and in a
small act of mercy from the developer, Arwyn will be fully healed afterward,
even if he's dying).

- Return to Hark.

=== Hark ===

- Talk to the innkeeper.

- Talk to the old man outside the inn.

- Go to the port (northeast building) and take a ship to Tomborough.

=== Tomborough ===

- Leave town and head north to reach Lavicca.

=== Lavicca ===

- In one of the southwestern corners of town is an amored man. Talk to him, and
he'll offer to join you for 50 G. Accept. Foster will join the party.

- Leave town. Head slightly west, then go south along the western side of the
mountain range until you reach Avique. (Along the way, you'll encounter an
optional cave with a few treasures.)

=== Avique ===

- Cross the river bridge to the eastern side of town to find Thoron's house.
Talk to Thoron. You are now tasked with finding the eight Golden Knives.

- Leave town. Backtrack to the north, then head west, circling around the
mountains, before heading south. Along the west coast of the continent is the
castle town of Dabriz.

=== Dabriz ===

- Go to the church and talk to the priest at the altar.

- Try to leave town. A battle will occur. Ryall will join your party afterward.

- Leave town and return to Avique.

=== Avique ===

- Go to the church and talk to the priest at the altar.

- Return to Tomborough.

=== Tomborough ===

- Go to the church, but ignore the priest at the altar. Instead, talk to the man
off to the left, who is the priest you're actually looking for.

- Leave town and head south. You'll eventually reach a chokepoint with an event
where you get attacked by brigands. Don't give them your money, and win the
ensuing battle.

- Return to Tomborough and give the Chalice to the priest to receive a Golden
Knife.

- Return to Avique.

=== Avique ===

- Talk to Thoron.

- Go to Dabriz.

=== Dabriz ===

- Enter the house in the southwestern corner of town (near where you met Foster)
and talk to the woman there to learn where Irma Nigath is.

- Go to the port in the northwest of town and book passage to Irma Nigath.
Foster will leave the party.

NOTE: As explained at the start of the guide, you will not be able to book a
ship if any party member has the "dying" or "stone" status.

=== Irma Nigath ===

- An event will immediately occur where you get thrown into a cell. Move to the
northwestern corner of the room and use the "Search" command to discover a
hidden passage leading out.

- Leave town. Head west, then follow the mountainline north until it turns into
a narrow passage. Follow this passage as it turns south to reach the Temple of
Helicon.

=== Temple of Helicon ===

- Follow the eastern wall until you reach a door leading to a small room with a
chest. Search it to find the Goddess Statue.

- Leave the room and walk due west to the opposite side of the temple, where
you'll find a matching room. Open the chest there to get the Evil God Statue.

- Go to the altar in the far north of the temple (directly up from the
entrance). An event will occur, revealing a secret staircase.

- The next floor is a maze. At the southern end of it is a chest which, when
searched, will trigger an event about the Golden Knife being gone.

- Try to leave the temple. A battle will occur. Win it and return to Irma
Nigath.

=== Irma Nigath ===

- Enter into the main part of town, where you couldn't go before.

- Go to the Food Shop in the west part of the town and talk to the woman at the
counter. This will trigger a brief event.

- Go to the house in the southwestern part of town and talk to the old man
there.

NOTE: If you talked to this NPC before this point, he only said "What a nice
day!" Whenever you come across someone who says this or a similar generic
comment about the weather, keep them in mind -- this phrase is almost if not
always used by plot-relevant NPCs if you haven't yet progressed the story far
enough to trigger their proper event dialogue.

- Try to leave town. An event battle will occur. Win it, and Blue Moon will join
your party.

- Leave town. Head south, following along the coastline, then west when you
can't go any farther south. You'll arrive at Azzo.

=== Azzo ===

- Enter the house in the southwestern part of town and talk to the knight to
trigger an event battle.

- Leave town and follow the mountains to the north to reach Galgud Cave.

=== Galgud Cave ===

- From the entrance, take the following turns: north, east. Go up the stairs.

- Take the following turns: west, north. Go up the stairs.

- Follow the passage, and turn north at the intersection. Go up the stairs.

- Go east. An event will occur; defeat the boss. Your party will get swept away
by the river.

- Go to the north. Ignore the spring along the way, and keep going until you
reach a town (Emuren).

=== Emuren ===

- Talk to the old man at the entrance who refuses to let you in. (Make sure you
actually talk to him and don't just trigger his "I won't let you in" line caused
by trying to walk past him; he should say "What have you come here for?!")

- Now go to the spring that you passed on the way here.

=== Spring ===

- Walk up to the spring and you'll be given the option to drink from it. Do so.
If you talked to the old man at Emuren, an event will occur where you save a
woman, Latell, from monsters.

- Return to Emuren.

=== Emuren ===

- Go to the wooden house in the northwest and talk to the Elder.

- On the riverbank just north of Emuren is an event trigger that leads to a
secret passage. Follow it to the other side of the river. You can return to
Emuren later using this same passage.

- Follow the river north. You'll encounter a closed bridge; ignore it and keep
going until you reach Aegyptus.

=== Aegyptus ===

- Go to the inn and talk to the innkeeper. It doesn't matter if you stay the
night or not. After the normal dialogue, an event will occur where you receive a
Golden Knife.

- Enter the northwesternmost house and talk to the old man there.

- Along the eastern edge of the town is a wandering NPC. Talk to him and
purchase an Ankh.

- Leave town, and go south and west through the desert to reach the Pyramid.

=== Pyramid ===

- Walk directly north from the entrance to hit an event trigger where you'll use
the Ankh to open the pyramid's entrance. Follow the stairs up.

- The next area is a multi-story maze. Each sub-area only has one entrance and
one exit, though, so just make sure you don't backtrack by accident and you'll
reach the end eventually. Find and follow the staircases leading down, up, down,
up, up, up, in that order, to reach the innermost chamber.

- Walk up to the sarcophagus(?) to trigger a boss fight. You'll be teleported
out of the Pyramid afterward.

- Return to Emuren.

=== Emuren ===

- Talk to the Elder. You'll be teleported to the Green Witch's tower. Enter.

=== Green Witch's Tower ===

- Follow the path up the tower. Talk to the old man blocking the stairs to the
top and defeat him.

- At the top of the tower, talk to Marianna. You'll be teleported out afterward.

- Follow the river north to the bridge you ignored earlier. Pay the toll and
cross it. Follow the terrain east and south; eventually, you'll reach an area
where you can cross a bridge to go north. Cross the desert to the north, then
head slightly east to find Arxalgak.

=== Arxalgak ===

- Enter the southeasternmost house and talk to Cynthia.

- Go to the church and talk to the priest.

- Go to the castle at the north end of town and talk to the guard.

- Now talk to the blue-haired boy in the northern part of town (previously, he
would only say "......"). An event will occur, and you'll get thrown in the
Labyrinth.

=== Labyrinth ===

NOTE: This area is particularly annoying. There are various invisible event
hotspots you have to touch in order to progress, but the events you need won't
occur unless you have talked to certain arbitrary NPCs first. None of this is
explained or apparent within the game itself, so follow the instructions
carefully.

- Directly north of your starting position is a door; enter it and talk to the
old man inside (this is required). He will give you a free heal every time you
talk to him. Make a note of this location.

- From the starting area, follow the path to the east, ignoring all turns.
You'll come across a spot on the northern wall with a crack in it. Stand in
front of it and use the "Search" command to reveal a hidden door. (This will
work on all such cracks in the labyrinth.) Enter the door and talk to the NPC
inside.

- Leave the previous room. Go east then north to reach the upper-right corner of
the labyrinth. Go south, crossing two sets of spikes. Ignore the first turn-off
leading west and continue south. At the next turn-off, go west, and continue
west past the southern turn-off. You'll see another crack in the wall that you
need to search to reveal a door. Enter the hidden room behind it and talk to the
old man inside, Caillie.

- Backtrack to where you entered the labyrinth, just outside the free heal room.
From there, go directly south and walk around the large block to find a
staircase to the lower level of the labyrinth. Take it.

- Turn west, north, west, west. You'll come across another cracked wall; search
it to reveal a door. Enter and talk to the man inside, Orde.

- Leave the room and go west, then turn south and walk over a set of spikes.
Turn east after the spikes, then turn south at the next opportunity (crossing
over a set of retracting spikes). This should trigger an event in which Arwyn
discovers an Amulet. If you haven't talked to all the required NPCs listed above
yet, he'll instead just say "What was that sound?!"

- Retrace your steps and return to Caillie's room. Talk to him.

IMPORTANT: At this point, make sure that none of your party members have the
"dying" or "stone" status effects. The next event is the first of several
instances where the game will silently refuse to advance the plot if *any* party
member is incapacitated.

- Make your way back to the area in front of Orde's room. From there, go west,
south, and cross the spikes. Now go east. Continue east, passing by two
turn-offs to the south guarded by retracting spikes. At the third southern
turn-off, go south.

- As you pass through the southern threshold, the Cyclops should attack.
  * If you haven't met all the plot prerequisites yet, Ryall will instead say
"Wh-What...? Eek! I'm scared!" and the fight will not occur.
  * If any party member is dying or stoned, Blue Moon will instead say "B-Bring
it on!!" and the fight will not occur. (Note that in another area of the
labyrinth, Blue Moon will say this same thing regardless of the party's status,
so don't get the areas mixed up).

- Defeat the Cyclops.

- Return to the labyrinth's starting area in front of the free heal room. Now go
west, following along the northern wall and ignoring all turn-offs until you
come to another crack in the northern wall. Search it to reveal a door leading
to a Pharmacy.

- At the back of the Pharmacy is a closed door. Walk into it to open it, then
exit through it. Talk to the NPC inside. An event will occur, followed by a boss
battle. Win, and you're finally out of the Labyrinth.

=== Arxalgak ===

- Leave the castle and go to Caillie's house (eastern side of town, just north
of Cynthia's house). Talk to Caillie.

- You now need to return to Irma Nigath. From Arxalgak, head south across the
desert, cross the bridge over the southern river, then follow the mountains east
and south until you reach Irma Nigath.

=== Irma Nigath ===

- There is a new NPC in the western area of town: Jean, the blue-haired boy from
Hark. Talk to him to receive a Golden Knife.

- Book a ship to Dabriz. On the way, you'll get shipwrecked, separating you from
Blue Moon and leaving you just southeast of Dabriz.

- Head to Lavicca (northeastern part of the continent).

=== Lavicca ===

- Go to the southwestern area of town to find Foster in the same place he was
the first time you met him. Talk to him again and accept his request; he'll join
the party.

- Return to Avique (central part of the continent).

=== Avique ===

- Go to the church and talk to the priest. He'll give you the Celestial Censer,
an item which prevents encounters with monsters weaker than you.

- Talk to the priest again to learn that Thoron has gone to the Forest of
Hauberg.

- From Avique, go west, then follow the river south to reach the bridge leading
to the Forest of Hauberg. Proceed southwest through the forest until you reach
the continent's coast, where you'll find a tower. Enter it.

=== Hauberg Tower ===

- On the first floor, there are six decorative pillars. Starting from the
tower's entrance and following the linear path forward, locate the third
sequential pillar (due south of the tower's entrance). Stand in front of it and
use the "Search" command to get the "Crystal Case" item. This will be required
for an event at the top of the tower. No, the game doesn't tell you about it in
advance, and yes, it does make you hike all the way back down to get it.

- You'll be attacked. Win the battle.

- Climb to the top of the tower. Search the chest on the pedestal in the center
of the room, then talk to Thoron.

- You'll be sent back to Avique. Foster will leave the party.

=== Avique ===

- Talk to Thoron to receive the Red Levistone. This is the first of several key
items that are used to teleport to specific towns, in this case Avique.

- Go to Dabriz.

=== Dabriz ===

- Walk into the castle. Keep going north until you reach the throne room, and
talk to the king.

- Talk to Bishop Julius to get the White Levistone.

- Use the Red Levistone to return to Avique.

=== Avique ===

- Talk to Thoron again.

- Use the White Levistone to return to Dabriz.

=== Dabriz ===

- Go to the Food Shop where you met Blue Moon; he's now there once again. Talk
to him, and he'll rejoin the party. You must specifically stand on the square
next to him, facing left, and press Button 2 for this to work; if you try to
walk into him, you'll "slide" off as if he were a wall, so be precise.

- Your next destination is Aegyptus. Go to Dabriz Port and book a ship to Irma
Nigath, then leave town and head west and north. Pass the toll bridge, then head
north to reach Aegyptus.

=== Aegyptus ===

- There is an old man, Goll, standing in the entrance to one of the houses in
the southwestern area of town. Talk to him.

- Go to the Item Shop and buy a Bomb (needed for the next event).

- Leave Aegyptus and head west, following the coastline. When you can't go any
farther west, turn south and follow the mountains along the edge of the desert
to reach Baran Cave. (It's just west of the Pyramid.)

=== Baran Cave ===

- Turn north at the junction, then go west. Move along the northern cave wall
near the treasure chest to trigger an event where Arwyn uses a Bomb (if the
party has one) to blow open a hole to the next area. Proceed onward.

- Follow the passage and take the following turns as they come up: south, west,
south, east, south. You'll reach the exit.

- Optional: You'll emerge near an enormous desert. If you head a bit to the
south, then west through the desert, you'll be able to find the town of Ieseug.
The plot will never actually require you to come here; it's just an optional
extra.

- To proceed with the plot, head west, then south, so that you walk between the
desert to the west and the coast to the east. Follow the coastline to a bridge,
then cross it and walk due south to reach Fruttasia.

=== Fruttasia ===

- Go to the western fortune teller's house (the eastern one is just a normal
fortune teller who gives you game hints). Talk to Melampus and agree to his
request.

- Enter the Pharmacy in the southwestern area (north of the closed bridge). You
can open and enter the closed door at the back. There, talk to Dr. Aklepios.

- Ryall will be forced out of the party. Make sure Arwyn and/or Blue Moon are
alive and not petrified; if they're both incapacitated, you *will* get a game
over here.

- Leave Fruttasia and go east until you reach the Fortress of Aset.

=== Fortress of Aset ===

- Follow the path south to the exit.

- Back on the world map, go east until you reach the river, then follow it
north. Cross the toll bridge and proceed southeast to Irma Nigath.

=== Irma Nigath ===

- Go to the port and book passage to the Island of Britannia. Nadine will join
the party.

=== Donnack ===

- Leave town.

- Head west. When you reach the coast, follow it south. The cave leading to
Selm's Crevice is in the mountains on the southern part of the island, slightly
set back from the western coast. Enter it and follow the short, linear path to a
small area with the entrance to Selm's Crevice proper.

=== Selm's Crevice ===

- Floor 1: west, south

- Floor 2: west, west

- Floor 3: Go southeast at the junction, then south across the retracting
spikes. When you get a message about toxic fumes, turn back and return to Floor
2.

- Floor 2: Going backward from the exit to floor 3, go north, north, east.
You'll find a knight who will give you a Gas Mask. Return to Floor 3.

- Floor 3: Cross the area where you had to turn back previously. You'll find a
dead end and a treasure chest. Search the chest to fight a Killer Treasure;
defeating it yields a message about hearing a sound from below. Turn back the
way you came and keep going east, following the southern wall as it turns north,
until you reach the exit to Floor 4.

- Floor 4: A boulder that was previously blocking your progress is now gone.
Walk up to the right edge of the large hole in the floor to trigger a boss
fight. Win, then backtrack all the way to Floor 2.

- Floor 2: Talk to the knight who gave you the Gas Mask again. You'll now get
the Mandrake.

- Leave the dungeon and return to Donnack.

=== Donnack ===

- Go to the port and book passage to Irma Nigath.

=== Irma Nigath ===

- Try to leave town. As you do, you'll receive the Black Levistone (teleport to
Irma Nigath).

- Leave town, and backtrack through the toll bridge and Fortress of Aset to
return to Fruttasia.

=== Fruttasia ===

- Talk to Dr. Aklepios.

- Talk to Melampus. You'll receive the Green Levistone (teleport to Fruttasia).

- Go to Aegyptus (east through the Fortress of Aset, then all the way north
along the river).

=== Aegyptus ===

- Talk to Goll again. Follow him into his house and speak with Latell.

- On the east side of town, speak with the man who previously sold you the Ankh.
He will now sell you the Blue Levistone (teleport to Aegyptus). And this was
only just unlocked, so no, you couldn't have done this last time you were here
to save having to hike on foot from Fruttasia.

- Use the Green Levistone to return to Fruttasia.

=== Fruttasia ===

- Go to Melampus' house and speak with him on his side of the table (don't use
the counter). An event will occur, and Blue Moon will leave your party. Make
sure he's not the only one alive or you'll (probably) get a game over.

- Talk to Dr. Aklepios.

- Leave Fruttasia and head north and west, following the river until it's
crossed by the bridge leading north. Continue north for a bit, then head west
across the desert. When you reach the desert's western edge, follow it north and
east. Eventually, you'll reach Fort Galdness at the northern edge of the
continent.

=== Fort Galdness ===

- Talk to the NPC at the entrance for a battle.

- Head north and slightly to the east to follow a narrow passage leading to a
staircase to the lower floor. Descend it.

- On the lower floor, talk to the NPC for another battle. Win to to receive the
Jail Key.

- Use the Jail Key to open the cells on this floor and talk to the NPCs inside.
You'll receive the Warehouse Key. The westernmost cell needs a different key and
will not open.

- Return to the previous floor. Leave the narrow passage and go up the two
flights of stairs just to the east. You should find four doors. Unlock the third
one from the left with the Warehouse Key, then search the chest in the center of
that room to get the Bronze Key.

- Leave the room that had the Bronze Key and head west, then south, then west
again. Go up the two flights of stairs heading north. Use the Bronze Key to
unlock the door immediately ahead and go through it to the second floor.

IMPORTANT: Before proceeding, make sure both Arwyn and Nadine are free from the
"dying" and "stone" status effects. Otherwise, the required plot event that
follows will not occur.

- Walk directly south from this room's entrance. Arwyn will be trapped by a
pitfall and get separated from Nadine.

- You're now back on the first floor; follow the passage back to the Bronze Key
door, unlock it again, and walk back to the pitfall area. You'll now fight a
boss. Beat it, then proceed through the nearby door.

- Talk to the NPC for another boss fight. Blue Moon will rejoin the party
immediately before the battle. After winning, you'll get the Platinum Key and
Aluminum Key.

- Return to the cells on the lowest floor and use the Platinum Key to unlock the
one on the far left that you couldn't before. Go inside and talk to Ryall to
have her rejoin the party. This will be immediately followed by another boss
battle.

- Use the Green Levistone to return to Fruttasia.

=== Fruttasia ===

- Make sure none of your party members are dying or stoned, then talk to Dr.
Aklepios. Blue Moon will leave the party again.

- Try to cross the bridge into southern Fruttasia. Proserpina will join the
party.

- Use the Blue Levistone to return to Aegyptus.

=== Aegyptus ===

- Talk to Goll.

- Use the Green Levistone to return to Fruttasia.

=== Fruttasia ===

- Leave town to the south. Walk due south until you come across a village,
Enava.

=== Enava ===

- Enter the middle house on the west side of town and talk to the old man inside
to learn where the Temple of Goldea is.

- Leave that house, then go east and talk to the old man there to learn how to
get rid of the boulders blocking the way.

- Leave town, and follow the western mountain chain to the south. You'll soon
come across the boulders blocking the path. Interact with them as you would an
NPC.

- The answers to the riddle are randomized, but simple: pay attention to the
words immediately preceding the weapon names. They must match, or the answer is
"No".

- From the boulders, head south and west to reach the Temple of Goldea.

=== Temple of Goldea ===

- Though the route isn't straight and there are traps along the way, all you
really need to do to navigate this area is keep walking north.

- Once you reach the back of the temple, ascend the altar and talk to the NPC
for three back-to-back boss battles.

- Use the Blue Levistone to return to Aegyptus.

=== Aegyptus ===

- Talk to Goll.

- You finally have all the Golden Knives! Use the Red Levistone to return to
Avique.

=== Avique ===

- Talk to Thoron.

- Use the Green Levistone to go to Fruttasia.

=== Fruttasia ===

- Go to the port in the southern half of the town and talk to the clerk. You'll
be told you need a permit from the king to go to Elsapodius.

- Leave town to the south, then go due west to find Castle Fruttasia.

=== Castle Fruttasia ===

- Talk to the guard at the entrance.

- Return to Fruttasia town.

=== Fruttasia ===

- Near the fortune teller's house in the southern half of the town is a roaming
blond NPC. Talk to him, and he'll tell you that you need a reference letter from
an important person to meet with the king.

- Use the White Levistone to go to Dabriz.

=== Dabriz ===

- Enter the castle and talk to the king to receive a Reference.

- Use the Green Levistone to go to Fruttasia, then walk to Castle Fruttasia.

=== Castle Fruttasia ===

- With your Reference, you can now enter the castle.

- Go north to the throne room and talk to the king to receive a Permit. Evans
will join the party.

- Return to Fruttasia town.

=== Fruttasia ===

- Go to the port and book passage to Elsapodius.

=== Elsapodius ===

NOTE: This is the last town before the endgame. Following the next dungeon, the
Levistones are removed from your inventory, and there's no going back to the
towns. Get prepared first.

- Go to the house in the southwest corner of town and talk to the old man inside
to receive the Yellow Levistone (teleport to Elsapodius).

- Leave town. Follow the river as it goes south and west. When you come to a
bridge going north, ignore it and continue to follow the river, which will turn
to the north. Cross the next bridge you come to, then walk due north and cross
another bridge.

- Now follow the river east. When you come to a bridge going south, ignore it
and continue to follow the river. Cross the next bridge you come to, then go
east and follow the passage north. After you cross one more bridge going north,
keep to the west as you go north and you'll find a cave in the mountains. This
is Il Tepui.

=== Il Tepui ===

- Floor 1: North at the junction. After the event, take the stairs up.

- Floor 2: A maze of doors. The solution is rightmost door, rightmost door,
leftmost door.

- Floor 3: North at the junction. Shortly afterward, you'll fight a boss. If you
have the Nemesis Sword, it'll get upgraded afterward (unequipping it in the
process, so make sure to reequip it). After that, go east at the junction to
reach the stairs.

- Floor 4: West at the junction. Walk up to the right side of the lava pool to
trigger an event. Choose "Yes", then fight the boss. Evans will leave the party.
You've now reached "Millennium".

=== Millennium ===

- Enter the large building to your north. Head due north and talk to the NPC in
front of the staircase. A long event will occur.

- If you wish, you can now head into the room to the north and talk to the robot
there to receive Ambrosia, a powerful healing item, as long as you don't already
have some.

- Head out the door to the south. Another event will occur, and Blue Moon will
rejoin the party, followed by a boss battle. Afterward, Ryall will be out of the
party again.

- Go south and talk to Evans.

- Go back north and enter the door to the right. Follow the linear path as it
goes north through two rooms, turns west, exits to a southern room, and finally
arrives at a staircase. Take the stairs up.

- Climb the tower. At the top, talk to Guy. Ryall will be returned to your
party, and you're given the chance to change out her equipment or make other
preparations before the final boss.

- Talk to Guy again to initiate the final battle.

- Win the game. My preferred strategy is setting the enemy HP value at $C7BA to
1, then tapping them with a sword... but maybe you can come up with something
more elegant.
